We have conquered the known world, mapped our genome, and even saw the White Sox win the World Series. But we still haven’t figured out how to live with each other.

 

More than anything else, this question has occupied our greatest minds and even served as a core purpose behind the founding of America.

 

Somewhere along the way, we lost the plot. Now, in the easiest time to be alive, we all checked of out of the game. "We" became "them".

 

To reignite that spark, I went back to school hoping to become a source of info rather than anywhere near the circus.

To my surprise, our world is better than I thought and still bad. Even more surprising? Many of our biggest problems have solutions—it all comes down to whether we have the political will to implement them.

 

Better and Bad is my attempt to embarrass myself on the internet, advocate for data driven solutions, and reclaim the project that was once America.
